Westminster

Westminster is a northwest suburb of Denver, located about 9 miles from downtown.  Westminster offers a variety of real estate, including some of the more affordable housing options in the Denver metro area.  With easy access to highway 36, many people commute to Denver and Boulder for work.

In the past year, 1345 single family homes sold in Westminster, with an average price of $431,432.  That ranged from a high of $2,235,000 to a low of $129,500 for a project.  The average days these homes were on the market was 8, and the sale price to list price ratio was 100.04% – meaning buyers had to pay over asking price in most cases.

512 condos and townhomes sold for an average of $276,884, with $620,000 at the high end and $105,000 at the low.  These units were on the market for 7 days, and the sale price to list price ratio was 100.17%.

Westminster real estate has seen an average growth of 9.8% per year of the past 5 years.

If you’d like to try out a great brewery, my favorite is KohKohPeli.  They have great beers and German food.  Standley Lake has some great trails to run/bike on, and incredible views of the front range.
